My mission is to help transform our education system into one that honors different ways of knowing and emphasizes authentic learning through creativity: the development of one’s own creative process. And while I am at it, I will help to empower and uplift communities through creativity by providing place-based projects for all to participate in.
Through professional development workshops, online courses, and one on one consulting, teachers will learn how to provide students opportunities to develop their own creativity. The teachers will also learn how to develop their own creative process.
Community members will have opportunities to experiment with different mediums through open studio nights and participate in collaborative creative projects that empower and uplift the place we live.
